Kyree Corbett
Certified InstructorKyree Corbett discovered Conscious Discipline early in her career. After receiving her bachelor’s degrees in Elementary and Special Education, Kyree knew her love was for early childhood education. She now operates a private preschool, implementing Conscious Discipline center-wide. Kyree also implements Conscious Discipline coaching CrossFit, sitting on the Board of Trustees for a 6-12 private school, and teaching parent workshops.

Sue Dierks
Certified InstructorSue Dierks has over 25 years of experience in the field of early childhood education that includes classroom teaching, parent engagement, teacher coaching and training as well as program administration. Sue’s thesis work explored resiliency in Head Start preschoolers and that interest in resiliency continues today through her work with Conscious Discipline.

Kelly Frazier-Wawire
Certified InstructorKelly Frazier-Wawire’s more than 15 years in education have been “a road less traveled.” Although she began her career in high schools, she transitioned to first grade after teaching in Bangladesh as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Most of her adventures and her greatest lessons have been learned in The Chicago Public Schools, where she’s been a teacher, an administrator, a social worker and, most recently, a district-wide SEL specialist. She’s also a new mom and appreciates how helpful Conscious Discipline is in everyday life!

Ashley Furnell
Certified InstructorAshley has over 10 years of experience in the classroom and has been using Conscious Discipline since 2011. Currently an early childhood special education teacher and mother to two young girls, Ashley knows firsthand the struggles that come from raising and teaching young kids. She credits Conscious Discipline with supporting her in reaching her most challenging students and building a strong School Family. She is passionate about helping others learn Conscious Discipline in fun, creative, and relatable ways.

Rozlyn Grant
Certified InstructorRozlyn Grant is a wife, mother of two boys and passionate early childhood educator with over 19 years’ experience in teaching, administration, coaching and consulting in public and private sectors. Rozlyn has a B.A. in Child & Family Development and a M.A. Ed. in Education Administration/Adult Learning. Conscious Discipline is a way of life for Rozlyn and her family as she strives to make the world a better place one interaction at a time.

Leslie Groth
Certified InstructorThe implementation of Conscious Discipline® with fidelity is so essential to Leslie Groth. To insure this fidelity she has attended and assisted in the week long Summer Institutes every year since 2009. She has also elevated her learning at the week long Advanced Institutes. Over the years she has attended numerous one and two day workshops with Dr. Becky Bailey and several other Instructors. These comprehensive experiences have advanced her Conscious Discipline knowledge, so that she can bring her workshop participants the most current brain research and CD skills.

Susan Hampel
Certified InstructorSusan Hampel is an energetic, passionate trainer, coach and educator, with 20 years experience as a preschool teacher. She currently works for the University of Dayton’s Bombeck Family Learning Center as an outreach coordinator for Preschool Promise. Preschool Promise is a community based education program that ensures every 4year old in Dayton receive a high quality Preschool education. She utilizes Conscious Discipline to improve the social emotional education in the Preschools Promise sites all over the area. Her passion and gift is teaching Conscious Discipline in order to plant the seeds of inspiration, creativity and love for children as a way to a better future. She also teaches parenting classes for Head Start of Montgomery County throughout the community.

Karen Hickman
Master InstructorKaren Hickman has a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, both from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She has been in the field of education for over 25 years, including teaching grades 4-6 in public school, operating an in-home preschool program for ten years and teaching as an adjunct professor for the University of Missouri-Columbia. Karen also has background experience as a Certified High/Scope Trainer and a Certified High/Scope Teacher. In 2003, the Central Missouri Association for the Education of Young Children honored Karen with the Outstanding Early Childhood Professional Award.

Certified InstructorAnnie has been implementing Conscious Discipline in her personal and professional life since 2008. For over 20 years she has worked in a variety of human service and educational settings including: public and private school settings, community preschools, community mental health centers and early childhood programs.
