    I am new to Conscious Discipline. Should I attend?

    All levels of implementation are welcome to this professional development event. You will be meeting a wide array of like-minded, experienced advocates who can offer their experience and expertise.

    Are onsite ticket purchases possible?

    The Conscious Discipline Institute only offers 200 seats per event, and registrations tend to fill out fast; often, this event has a waitlist. Walk-ins are strongly discouraged for that reason, but if space is available, walk-ins will need to pay the event registration plus a 20% administration fee upfront before being allowed entry.

    How can I join the waitlist?

    First, click on the sold-out event. Then, click on “Waitlist” to access and submit the form. When an event is sold out, attendees on the waitlist are considered priority on a first come first served basis when we have event cancellations. You will receive an email as soon as a spot opens, and you must respond within the given date to secure your seat.

    How do I know if I’m registered?

    All registrants will have an order confirmation number. If you are in a team, the team’s purchaser is responsible for disseminating the registration link to all team members. You must fill out these forms before attending.

    What is your cancellation/substitution policy?

    Generally speaking, it is recommended that any changes to your tickets be made by contacting [email protected] at least 30 days in advance of the event.

    • For cancellations: Full refunds minus a $100 processing fee can be available up to 30 days before the event, but will not be provided after that point. We advise substitutions in that case.
    • For substitutions: Please contact our Customer Care team for substitutions. No extra charge will be made if the change is made 30 days in advance; a $25 processing fee will be added if the change is made after that point. Note that all attendees will need their order confirmation number.
    • For event transfers: All event tickets are non-transferable, meaning that you cannot use this ticket for another event.

    Do you accept Purchase Orders (PO) for events?

    Yes, we accept POs for event registration. Please contact [email protected] and/or [email protected] for all special situations. Please note that POs must include recipient’s name and address, PO number, itemized list, and matching order total.
    You can place an order without having a PO; however, your order is subject to be CANCELLED if we do not receive your PO within 15 days of placing the order. We require payment to be received no more than 15 days AFTER receiving your purchase order or your registration may be cancelled.

    What sort of credits can I get for professional development at this event?

    This (professional development conference for teachers) offers the following:

    • Certificates: All attendees will receive a certificate after full participation.
    • Credit Hours: Up to four continuing education units (CEUs) can be received through Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) for full attendance and participation. Apply via www.cuw.edu/apply. The Institute course code is EDGP 5018.

    What is covered if I am selected to receive a scholarship or helper seat?

    Scholarships cover both tuition and course materials; however, it does not provide travel expenses such as meals, accommodations, special discount packages, etc. Helpers will be covered for the event as well as lodging, per diem meals, and up to $500 for travel.

    When are helper and scholarship seats selected?

    Helper and scholarship applications are closed by 90 days of an event, with an exception to our Week-long Institutes which will have a separate close date. You will be notified by email 60 – 45 days prior to the event, whether or not you have been selected as a helper or scholarship seat.
