Jacqui Grider

Jacqui Grider is a fourth-generation educator with 14+ years of public-school experience from Lafayette, IN. The roles she’s held include Title 1 Aide, Kindergarten, First, and Third grade teacher, and education administration. During her time as an educator, she became a leader in Applied Education Neuroscience within her school by implementing Conscious Discipline in her classroom.

Jacqui holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Purdue University and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Educational Neuroscience from Butler University. She is currently implementing Conscious Discipline in her new role by assisting multiple schools in their building-wide Conscious Discipline implementation, coaching educators in Conscious Discipline practices, and implementing Conscious Discipline in teachers’ classrooms.

Jacqui is committed to supporting K-12 educators in implementing the powers, skills, and structures of Conscious Discipline in their spaces and places. She also supports administrators and district leaders in guiding a sustainable school/district-wide transformation with Conscious Discipline. Her ability to break down information and present it in easily digestible and applicable ways are what make her a stellar presenter, coach and instructor.
