Carla Briezen has been working in the field of education in Aruba for over 20 years. Her aim is to introduce Conscious Discipline to as many people as possible and to be an example of living the principles of Conscious Discipline. Carla believes that adults and children alike can grow and live joyous, valuable lives founded on love instead of fear. By consciously accessing our brilliance when we apply the powers and skills of Conscious Discipline, we can build more loving and connected families, schools, companies and communities.
Gina de KortCertified Instructor
Gina is a wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, trainer, coach, and team leader who has worked in the educational field for more than 20 years. She currently coordinates the team of Educational Facilitators of Innovation at the Department of Education of Aruba, incorporating Conscious Discipline in her leadership approach. She also facilitates Conscious Discipline workshops for parents and educators.

Helen Guda is director of her own consultancy Develop to Grow, which is born out of a passion for the development of people and is based on a firm belief that human growth is the way to personal and collective success.
Jennifer WelmersCertified Instructor
Jennifer Welmers has over 17 years of experience as a primary teacher. She is a licensed child coach who specializes in the social and emotional development of children and adults. She coaches families and is a director of Tools4HappyKids, which promotes a healthy upbringing and education for young children. Jennifer also runs her own business, ZieMeStralen, which is based on transforming lives with Conscious Discipline through coaching at homes, schools, and childcare centers.
Jozee AardenburgCertified Instructor
Jozee Aardenburg is one of the pioneers of Conscious Discipline in the Netherlands. She is an enthusiastic and humorous ambassador and presenter of the program for parents, teachers, and childcare workers. With her experience in business, Jozee has the skills to help managers implement Conscious Discipline at the strategic level of an organization and use the program as an instrument for transformational growth organization-wide.
Juana MoralesCertified Instructor
Juana is a mother, a wife, psychologist and educator living in Bogota, Colombia. She has been working for 27 years with children and their families in her private clinical practice and her child development center Vueltacanela as a director. She has specialized in emotional regulation, ADHD, impulsivity, parenting and early childhood. She loves helping families and teachers connect with their children.
Laura Angulo (Bilingual)Certified Instructor
Laura Angulo was born in Bogotá Colombia and was raised in Florida where she graduated from High School and went on to study Psychology and Special Education at the University of Miami. After working as a Special Education teacher in the Broward County public school system with children with severe and moderate cognitive disabilities, she realized the fundamental importance of early intervention and obtained her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education at UM. During her years at the University of Miami and through her practicum experience in Special Education pre-k classrooms Laura was first introduced to Conscious Discipline in 2004. Her formal training began in 2006 when after attending a two day session with Becky Bailey in Miami, Laura knew that this was the “better way” she wanted to follow and spread.
Lety Valero (Bilingual)Master Instructor
Lety Valero has been an enthusiastic, innovative and committed educator for over 25 years. She served as a teacher, assistant principal, and the director of a preschool at an international school in Mexico City, Mexico. She is a Conscious Discipline Master Instructor and national presenter with an M.S. in International Education. Lety is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Lina has been using Conscious Discipline as a professional in the field of education for more than ten years. Her experience working with children and families in the area of special education and regular education has equipped her with a clear understanding of the unique needs of both populations and the usefulness of the program.
