Ashley has over 10 years of experience in the classroom and has been using Conscious Discipline since 2011. Currently an early childhood special education teacher and mother to two young girls, Ashley knows firsthand the struggles that come from raising and teaching young kids. She credits Conscious Discipline with supporting her in reaching her most challenging students and building a strong School Family. She is passionate about helping others learn Conscious Discipline in fun, creative, and relatable ways.
Barbara LandonCertified Instructor
Barbara Landon teaches bioethics at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. She has been teaching Conscious Discipline in Grenada and in the Caribbean since 2009 and has been a CDCI since 2013. She is co-recipient of a Canada Grand Challenges Saving Brains grant, which aims to teach Conscious Discipline in Grenada to help prevent corporal punishment. She has worked with UNICEF, the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and numerous NGOs to promote healthy neurodevelopment in the region. She also teaches mindfulness in the SGU community and several courses in SGU’s graduate program in community clinical psychology.

Cathy Lancelotta is a Certified Conscious Discipline Instructor and Director of Heritage Preschool at Heritage United Methodist Church in Overland Park, Kansas. Cathy has worked in the field of early childhood for 25 years and has been a Certified Conscious Discipline Instructor since 2006. Cathy holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Family Life and Environment from Louisiana State University. She is a member of the ACEI (Association for Child good Education International), NAEYC, Mid-America AEYC as well as the Christian Early Childhood Association of Greater Kansas City.
Cristy RobertsCertified Instructor
Cristy Roberts holds a degree in Deaf Education from the University of Tulsa, but what makes her a powerful presenter is her years of experience working with children and developing staff. She had been a Pre-K classroom teacher, child care director, Head Start Site Director, Early Head Start and Head Start Training Specialist and is currently the Training Director for The Early Childhood Education Institute at the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Diana NelsonCertified Instructor
Diana Nelson earned a Master’s degree in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Vermont. She has been in the field of education for over 15 years, including teaching grades K-12 in both the public and private sector. Diana’s teaching experiences span across administration, classroom teaching and curriculum development. She shares her passion for Conscious Discipline within her community in South Bay Los Angeles teaching parents, students, teachers and administrators. Diana is supported by her loving husband and two young children.

Dinah Lee Schaller is a Licensed Master of Social Worker who partners with schools, childcare centers and educational institutions to help them develop a positive culture and climate with the use of Conscious Discipline. After spending nearly two decades in education, consultation and classroom coaching, Dinah knows what truly drives the development of a highly effective positive culture and climate for all learners and all staff.
