Jen is a wife, mother, and early childhood educator with over 10 years of experience. She discovered
Conscious Discipline her first year of teaching and has applied it in her professional and personal life ever since. She has worked in public and private elementary schools, pre-k classrooms, and most recently with her young son. Jen graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and an M.Ed. in Language and Literacy.
Jennifer SkrivanekCertified Instructor
Jennifer Arnold Skrivanek graduated from Texas A&M University in 1987 with a Bachelors Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Her first teaching experience was in third grade in Bryan Texas. After spending time at home caring for her young children she returned to teaching and worked in a church preschool setting for five years. Jennifer then returned to the public-school setting in Bryan, Texas teaching Kindergarten for eight years.

Jonathan EastmanCertified Instructor
Jonathan Eastman has a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. He has taught Pre-K to 2nd grade and has worked for many years as a children’s entertainer, storyteller and games-master. Jonathan employs that playful dynamic of sharing Conscious Discipline® and cooperative play activities with school staff, parent groups and organizations that value social-emotional intelligence. What he loves most is to engage with children. He is a master trainer with the Palm Beach County Early Childhood Registry and a program consultant for the Fatherhood Task Force of South Florida.

Her expertise has evolved from twenty years of teaching in urban school settings and working with families functioning under a variety of modern stressors.

Kelli Rushing has a passion for young children and for the adults that live and work with them. As an early childhood consultant and trainer, she brings information and skills to current and future teachers, early childhood program directors, parents, early interventionists and all who support those who live with and care for young children. Her skill and drive for excellence guide and encourage all her students (children and adults) to reach new and deeper levels of learning and practice.

Kim Hughes is a 30+ year veteran of education with Master’s degrees in both Elementary Education and School Leadership/Administration. She was awarded the 1999-2000 North Carolina Teacher of the Year Award. Kim excels in providing engaging, informative events for educators and administrators of children infant through elementary age.

Kim Jackson is a master teacher who is dedicated to providing the very best learning experiences possible for each child in her care. She graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been teaching and coaching in the public schools of North and South Carolina for over 23 years.

Kristi Cheyney-Collante, an Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education, makes her home in North Central Florida. She is also a wife, mother and counts her big blended family (a husband, five children/step-children, three dogs, and a cat) as both her greatest joy and her own personal laboratory for daily learning how to be more conscious.
