“It’s impossible not to be inspired by Afton. Afton sees her kids’ hearts in their truest sense and helps me see mine. I never had a question that I could implement CD in my middle school classroom after seeing Afton doing so seamlessly. When she presents, she shows what she is doing in her room while also inspiring us to find what will work for our own students by seeing kids for who they authentically are.”
“Your presentation yesterday was powerful. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your story. I was struggling through the book, but your presentation helped me really understand the purpose and value of it.”
“Kudos to Afton for being a great facilitator and CD leader! Everyone really enjoyed it.”
“Wow! I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to present to our district today. Today was one of those feel good days. I'm so excited about Conscious Discipline. My personal values align really well with this research, and I'm so excited that there is actually an entire body of work to utilize in my classroom.”
“I can't thank you enough for your willingness to embrace CD in the older grades, your vulnerability in sharing, and your brilliance in adapting the CD mindset to reach so many people - even me. Meeting you has been a true gift and I am so, so grateful.”
