A.C.T. Scenarios: Infants & Toddlers
This role-playing activity helps early childhood educators practice the A.C.T. process (Acknowledge the child’s deepest desire and intent; Calm by breathing to slow down; Target two positive choices). Read and roleplay the ten scenarios, then have staff members respond using A.C.T. For beginners, hold up the included cue card as a reminder of the A.C.T. steps and language.
