Incidents of anger and rage are on the uptick nationwide and we know why. Over the last 50 years, we have stopped “being a village”; losing the skillset, support and connection necessary to respond to children within a community.  Educators bear the brunt of this loss with an increase of challenging student behaviors on top of their other responsibilities. Anger is a healthy emotion that can keep us safe.  It can also act in destructive, fearful and unsafe ways when it’s not given the space it deserves and the skills required to regulate.

How can we plan to face anger and rage safely and effectively?

Over the course of this specialized, two day workshop, explore the powerful dynamics of anger, its impact on learning environments, and how to respond to it effectively from a place of composure. Learn the tools to differentiate between anger and rage and how to respond to each, practice active modeling of composure, and establish a Rage Prevention and Intervention Program to create a safer, more supportive educational community.

This education workshop is perfect for educators in K-12 and Head Start/Early Head Start Program settings looking to improve their classroom management skills by having a better plan to respond to anger and rage. Join us and our experts at Anger and Rage: Planning our Response.
