Description
We have a problem. We’re trying to teach children skills we don’t possess. Everyone wants children to pay attention, be respectful, responsible and kind, know their worth, collaborate well, and grow up feeling empowered. But how will they learn these skills if the adults in their lives rely on rewards, punishment, guilt and control rather than modeling and teaching?
The sad truth is they won’t. Until we learn to discipline ourselves and manage our own upset in a more helpful way, we will continue to pass our shortcomings, wounds and triggers down to children.
Go beyond worksheets, bucket-filling and “catching them being good” with Conscious Discipline Certified Instructor Jill Molli as she leads you on a journey of understanding and reflection. Delve into the many ways your mindset, triggers and discipline approaches shape children’s skillsets outside of the lessons you teach. Then discover proven strategies for improving your self-regulation skills, your relationships, your beliefs about upset, and your ability to teach children the social-emotional skills for life success.
