Conscious Discipline, a 25-year leader in educational practices for self-regulation and resiliency, has announced an impressive line-up of keynote speakers for their widely anticipated annual conference, Elevate Conscious Discipline 2023: Renew Your Passion and Purpose, October 12-14, Orlando, Florida, teacher conference. Elevate empowers educators and administrators with meaningful connections, inspiration for a successful school year, and the mindset and skillset necessary to create learning environments where both adults and students thrive.  

Dr. Becky Bailey is a powerful agent of transformational change. Her mission to improve the lives of educators, children and families coalesced into Conscious Discipline more the 25 years ago. Conscious Discipline is a trauma-informed, neuroscience-based practice that unlocks the power of self-regulation for optimal living and learning. Each year, Becky headlines Elevate Conscious Discipline, a national conference she designed to inspire and celebrate educators. 

Ginny Luther, author of Blue Star Grit, was one of Conscious Discipline’s original instructors in 1998. Though she is a lifelong educator, it was not Ginny’s profession that first brought her to Conscious Discipline; it was what was happening within her own home. Ginny will share a deeply inspiring story of hope in her captivating keynote. 

Tanyelle L. Hannah is a motivational force. Her experience, passion and ability make everyone sit up and listen when “Principal Hannah,” as she is lovingly known, takes the stage. Tanyelle’s life-affirming perspectiveher humorous delivery, and her drive for representing urban communities and students of color are outright contagious.  

Amy Speidel is an insightful presenter, longtime Conscious Discipline Certified Instructor and co-host of the popular Real Talk for Real Teachers podcast. Audiences worldwide know Amy for her warmth, her profound insights, her depth of Conscious Discipline practice, and her ability to help others see the best in themselves so they can become their best selves.  

Latoria Marcellus is the co-host of the popular podcast, Real Talk for Real Teachers. She has more than 18 years of experience as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and coach. Her background as an education champion and creator of a two-generation nonprofit organization shines from the stage this year as she co-presents with Amy Speidel.
