More About Mandy Herold
"I’ve been to many workshops and parent talks but Mandy’s one on Conscious Discipline for Parents was the first workshop that focused, not on changing our children’s behavior but, the way we respond to them. The practical examples have been really helpful, like the Velcro Visual to-do lists but the biggest change we’ve noticed is less frustration and more understanding. All one could ask for as a parent!”
"Thank you for this morning both my wife and I found it so informative and thought provoking. It can feel like our lives are so hectic, that we almost parent on intuition and auto pilot. This morning gave us an hour dedicated to slowing down and really thinking about our kids and the way we wish to interact and raise them. Many of the points you raised resonate with us, particularly identify the reason/emotion behind the action and addressing that.”
"Myself and my husband found the talk very informative. I really appreciate the time Mandy takes to teach our boys such valuable life lessons, and then taking the time to provide us with the tools to follow through at home. It is going to take some time to change our inner voice, but we both believe that there definitely is value in giving it a try to get a better grip on parenting. Another talk would be amazing! ”
"You just blew me away today! The training was absolutely world class! You are a natural, Mandy! You did it! You are warm, engaging and so articulate! Thank you for a day of inspiration, hope and for the most wonderful toolkit! This really is the way to effect transformation in our wounded world and how exciting it is to know that we as teachers, can do this! You have set me on a journey that has myself and our staff delighted and excited as not only will we serve our children but also we will grow ourselves. Thank you for an organized, constructive and inspiring day. The refreshments were delicious, the material accessible, the venue magnificent and we all came away empowered enough to start implementing strategies straight away. ”
