Kelsey Donnini has been a Conscious Discipline Certified Instructor since 2013. She holds a Masters Degree in Social Work as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, both from the University of Wyoming.
Kelsey has many years of experience as a consultant and trainer for educators working with infants, toddlers, preschool and school aged children both typical and those with special needs. She has creative abilities to solve challenging behavioral difficulties using Conscious Discipline while supporting parents and educators with empathy and kindness. Kelsey has developed strategies to support school wide implementation of Conscious Discipline, including support for parents, educators, paraprofessionals and administrators. Bridging the gap between education and mental health practice is one of her passions.
Kelsey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is the owner of The Children’s Place Counseling and Consultation in Casper, WY. Kelsey uses the principles and skills of Conscious Discipline as the foundation of her clinical therapeutic work with children, teens, adults and their families in her counseling practice. She is able to join families when they are struggling and create a therapeutic plan to improve relationships and behavior using Conscious Discipline.
Kelsey also provides parent coaching to those interested in learning new skills, no matter the location. With the help of new technologies parents can meet with Kelsey virtually and learn strategies to implement at home. This flexible approach has been life changing for families wanting to learn, but perhaps do not have access to on-site training opportunities.×
