Jenny’s authenticity and enthusiasm sparks excitement about the transforming power of Conscious Discipline®. With over 20 years of experience working with children with special needs, she specializes in adapting teaching strategies to address the needs of diverse populations. While Jenny enjoys working with children of all ages, her sweet spot is the early childhood years! As a teacher, trainer, and coach she has a special knack for connecting people with content and one another through experiential learning opportunities.

After implementing Conscious Discipline® in her special needs preschool classroom for several years, Jenny became a Conscious Discipline® Certified Instructor in 2011. Upon leaving the classroom in 2013, she began providing training and coaching for teachers and parents throughout the State of Indiana. Jenny’s authenticity and enthusiasm sparks excitement about the transforming power of Conscious Discipline® in a hands-on active learning environment.

Jenny has facilitated numerous full and half-day trainings for organizations such as Head Start, Preschools, Childcares, Public and Private Schools, NAEYC, and CCR&R. She also presents keynotes and break-out sessions at national, state, and local conferences.

As a coach, Jenny supports teachers as they deepen their skill set through classroom modeling, reflection, book study, and individualized professional development plans. Jenny specializes in helping teachers learn creative ways to adapt the learning environment and activities to meet the needs of all children.

In her work with parents, Jenny is passionate about developing an interactive approach to learning which includes parents and children sharing the learning environment through small group parent-child classes. She also provides parent workshops and training series for schools, churches, and her local community.

In addition to her work with teachers and parents, Jenny has a special interest in working with faith-based organizations and helping them understand the biblical connections of Conscious Discipline and their faith journey. She has presented at faith-based conferences for educators and is involved in women’s ministry and leadership in her local church where she integrates the principles of Conscious Discipline from a biblical standpoint.
