Experience
Heidi has 27+ years of experience in education. She spent 14 years as a kindergarten teacher, three years as an elementary school principal and 10+ years as the director of a school district early learning program. Heidi is also experienced in working with Head Start and using home visits as an effective intervention for families.
Specialization
Heidi specializes in training, coaching and mentoring staff and parents of children ages 0-6. She works extensively with early learners and adults to foster optimal brain integration through Conscious Discipline and the development of children’s movement and sensory systems. Heidi is adept at helping teachers create nurturing and enriching environments that increase language, literacy and learning readiness skills while decreasing behavior issues. Heidi’s school was named a Conscious Discipline School of Fidelity in 2019.
