Cassie Gerst has dedicated most of her adult life to implementing positive change within educational communities. With a career spanning more than 18 years, Cassie’s commitment to addressing the needs of students, parents, and educators alike has made her a dynamic force in education. 

Cassie’s diverse background and experiences include 18+ years in out-of-school time and family programming in addition to training adults in the principles of Positive Youth Development. She also has 9+ years in administrative and supervisory positions directly related to after school programming and grants. Cassie’s vast experience has enriched her understanding of holistic education and prepared her to step fully into her role as Conscious Discipline Certified Instructor.  

Regulation, perspective and positivity aren’t qualities that are relegated to Cassie’s professional life—she also practices them in her daily life. She embraces life at full throttle with regular rides on her Harley-Davidson FreeWheeler, continues to grow in her love of reading and in her yoga practice, and shares her wealth of knowledge with The Montana Institute and the Science of the Positive. We’re thrilled to have Cassie in the Conscious Discipline family.
