Virtual Training – Police Athletic League NYC Early Head Start

These two sessions are designed for Early Head Start teachers and support staff. Participants will learn the Conscious Discipline Brain State Model, the role attunement and attachment have on the ability to self-regulate. Participants will understand the importance of recognizing their own upset and regulating that upset before they can help an upset or unregulated child. They will also learn how to use “I Love You Rituals” to strengthen connections. Participants will learn the importance of visual routines to support a felt sense of safety. Finally, participants will learn about Baby Doll Circle time and how this can strengthen attachment, attunement and social play.
