This role-playing activity helps teachers practice the A.C.T. process (Acknowledge the child’s deepest desire and intent; Clarify what skills to use; Take time to practice). Read and roleplay the eleven scenarios, then have staff members respond using A.C.T. For beginners, hold up the included cue card as a reminder of the A.C.T. steps and language.
