Shana Schmidt holds a masters degree in counseling with over 25 years working with children, adults, and families as a therapist, family advocate, and behavioral coach. As an early childhood mental health and family specialist, her professional career brings extensive experience and healing to draw participants closer to who they want to be and how they want to serve others. She specializes in early childhood trauma and family repair.

Being a Certified Instructor since 2005 has taught Shana how to pull from her true core of self and create coaching and training opportunities that are unique, personal, and relatable.
Shana is an award-winning author of her book “Over Our Hearts: a mother’s journey learning to listen in,” a memoir story of her experiences as the mother of a teen parent. Endorsed by Dr. Becky Bailey, Shana’s book is described as “an unflinching and inspiring look at the emotions, challenges and relationship shifts that often come with a young teen’s pregnancy.”
