Michelle Henner is the Program Director of The Playing Field Early Childhood program in Madison, Wisconsin, where she has served for the last decade. With over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, Michelle has taken on diverse roles, including teacher, parent educator, administrator, and coach. She specializes in supporting teachers in Early Head Start and Head Start programs, drawing upon her extensive experience working with children from birth to age five. Michelle is deeply committed to creating inclusive environments that serve children affected by adverse experiences alongside their more advantaged peers.
Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in education with a focus on Early Childhood from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin. Her academic background, combined with her hands-on experience, has provided her with a solid foundation for her work as an educator, leader, and advocate within the field of Early Childhood Education. She also brings personal insight to her professional expertise, as the mother of a child with special needs.
