More About Jeremy Bloyd

Jeremy attended his first Conscious Discipline Institute in 2021 with several colleagues from his district, curious how he could connect with high school seniors through clapping, singing, and the Feeling Buddies. His clacker was clacking! But Amy Speidel’s presentation piqued his interest, and he learned how easily the Conscious Discipline philosophy could be adapted and utilized with the scholars in his Work-Based Learning program. Jeremy later became a Conscious Discipline Endorsed Facilitator, leading professional development throughout the district for two years. His most cherished professional compliments are that he has been described by his peers as committed, compassionate, and conscientious.

Jeremy earned his Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 1999 and a Master of Science with a focus on Career & Technical Education in 2006, both from Purdue University. He has taught elementary, middle, and high school in the Greater Lafayette area in his home state of Indiana, where he resides with his wife, Stephanie, and children, Gabriella and Gatlin.
