Susan Kirby graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. After a career in the financial services industry, she became a stay-at-home mom caring for her two sons, Nick and Thomas. After they entered elementary school, became a tireless volunteer and substitute teacher. Susan has always been comfortable working with children and this gift didn’t escape the Preschool Director at her church, who quickly offered her a position in the Kindergarten classroom. Thus began Susan’s journey of classroom teaching. Ten years later, Susan was offered the position of part-time Parent Educator at Clemson Road Child Development Center, a Title One 4K program in Richland School District 2 in Columbia, South Carolina.
