Elevate Social Emotional Learning Conference: Start Strong with Conscious Discipline the First Six Weeks
NEW! A Pre-Conference Add-On is available July 28th. $99 per person – additional details below.
The first six weeks of any school year are critical. This year, our preparedness is even more important as we seek to address learning loss, equity, severed relationships, uncertainty, new routines, and the anxieties/trauma of both our students and ourselves. Cultivate a healthy mindset and effective new practices at our three-day Elevate Social Emotional Learning: Start Strong with Conscious Discipline the First Six Weeks event.
Dr. Becky Bailey hosts and conducts three keynote sessions for Elevate, while Master and Certified Instructors and active teachers, specialists and administrators from across the nation lead practical, inspiring breakout sessions divided into age and grade level tracks. Together with these seasoned professionals, you will craft a comprehensive and personalized SEL plan for your first six weeks of school that will set the stage for a year of success. You’ll gain the tools and guidance you need to rebuild a strong foundation of safety, connection, equitable school culture and problem solving from the very start of your school year.
Your safety is a priority! We will be following all CDC and local guidelines, including mask-wearing and reducing attendance to 500 seats for proper distancing.

Craft Your Action Plan to Reconnect, Repair and Rebuild
The past 18 months have shaken our global foundation. We are now faced with the opportunity to let go of failed systems and approaches and replace them with brain-compatible, prosocial, equitable, inclusive and emotionally sound strategies as we rebuild that foundation together. Elevate Social Emotional Learning: Start Strong with Conscious Discipline the First Six Weeks is your key to a brighter, healthier, more fulfilling future. You’ll gain the tools and guidance you need to rebuild a strong foundation of safety, connection and problem solving from the very start of your school year.
Elevate empowers you with the mindset and skill set you need to navigate this unprecedented return to school with Conscious Discipline! Conscious Discipline is a transformative leader in social and emotional learning. Our adult-first, trauma-informed approach addresses implicit biases; seamlessly integrates SEL, school culture and discipline; and is built on a Brain State Model that provides a comprehensive self-regulation framework for adults and children. This conference is designed for early childhood through middle school administrators, teachers, social workers, school psychologists and counselors at any stage of Conscious Discipline awareness/implementation. Strategies can be adapted for use in other grade levels.
Your Elevate experience will teach you how to:
- Create a culture of trust, connection and healing that cultivates the emotional safety students require to succeed both academically and socially.
- Respond proactively, compassionately and skillfully to students affected by the events of the past 18 months, particularly in regard to COVID and social justice.
- Develop a 6-week plan that addresses uncertainty, trauma and learning loss while fostering the social and emotional learning of all stakeholders in the school, including administrators, educators and families.
- Prioritize and promote mental health, equity, inclusion and resiliency within your SEL plan.
- Feel confident that you can meet your own needs and the needs of your students and families, even during the most difficult times.
