Laura Angulo (Bilingual)Certified Instructor
Laura Angulo was born in Bogotá Colombia and was raised in Florida where she graduated from High School and went on to study Psychology and Special Education at the University of Miami. After working as a Special Education teacher in the Broward County public school system with children with severe and moderate cognitive disabilities, she realized the fundamental importance of early intervention and obtained her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education at UM. During her years at the University of Miami and through her practicum experience in Special Education pre-k classrooms Laura was first introduced to Conscious Discipline in 2004. Her formal training began in 2006 when after attending a two day session with Becky Bailey in Miami, Laura knew that this was the “better way” she wanted to follow and spread.

Jen ArndtCertified Instructor
Jen is a wife, mother, and early childhood educator with over 10 years of experience. She discovered
Conscious Discipline her first year of teaching and has applied it in her professional and personal life ever since. She has worked in public and private elementary schools, pre-k classrooms, and most recently with her young son. Jen graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and an M.Ed. in Language and Literacy.
Mindy BeckerCertified Instructor
Mindy, founder of Grow With Us Academy LLC, has been working with children and families since 1990. As a Barry University Suma Cum Lade graduate, she majored in Exceptional Student Education (ESE). She was first introduced to Conscious Discipline® in 2001 where she used some of the strategies with medically fragile children while working at Children’s Rehab Network. After receiving her teaching degree Mindy started working at the Pre-Kindergarten ESE District Office in Miami-Dade County substituting in the demonstration classrooms, helping with the assistive technology team, and teaching at various PPEC’s (Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care).
Cheryl CotterCertified Instructor
Cheryl Cotter is a wife, mother and special educator with over 29 years of experience. Cheryl discovered Conscious Discipline when she was looking for a better way to support her son. She had followed all the doctors’ recommendations for behavior management tools; nothing was working. She learned about Conscious Discipline at a training in New Hampshire and never looked back.
Kelsey DonniniCertified Instructor
Kelsey Donnini has been a Conscious Discipline Certified Instructor since 2013. She holds a Masters Degree in Social Work as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, both from the University of Wyoming.
Megan DuplainCertified Instructor
Megan Duplain has 25 years of experience in education, including roles as a special educator and an administrator. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Special Education and is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. She is currently in the fourth year of leading a successful district-wide rollout of Conscious Discipline in the Litchfield Elementary School District in Arizona.
Rachel FrasierCertified Instructor
With two decades of teaching experience, Rachel Frasier whole-heartedly integrates the powers and skills of Conscious Discipline into all aspects of her life. She has the unique perspective of serving as an elementary school dance specialist, allowing her to build relationships with all the students and families in her school. Rachel is a NC Teaching Fellow and graduate of Meredith College, where she earned a BA in Dance and her K-12 Dance Education Certification.
